Brazenwood
explores courage, love, and elven wizardry
in the exciting adventure of Arian, a young
wood elf ranger, and his companions in their
struggle to save Thandoria from an
interplanetary invasion of ice trolls
controlled and lead by a deranged sorcerer.
Brazenwood is
Book One of the Star Elf Dodecagy. What is a
dodecagy? It is a new word I coined from the
root dodecahedron, a twelve-sided figure.
Since I intend to write twelve books in the
Star Elf saga, one for each sign of the
zodiac, I call it the Star Elf Dodecagy.
Each story
captures and expresses the essence of the
archetypal polarities. Brazenwood explores
the Aries-Libra polarity expressing the
principles of Courage and Balance. Aries is
the archetype of the Warrior, the Hero, and
the Leader and is associated with the energy
of spring. Libra is the archetype of the
Lover, the Artist, and the Diplomat and is
associated with the energy of autumn. This
story bridges the Equinoxes! Join Arian
